Patrizia K Ingram
Patrizia is a professional artist and watercolorist serving military and civilian population at every duty station She paints daily taking small breaks for teaching watercolor classes in-between her commissions. She discovered her love for watercolors in 2016 although she has been painting in oils since childhood. Patrizia currently lives in Mons, Belgium with her husband, an Army officer, and daughter who currently attends kindergarten. Her work has been featured in multiple exhibitions from Monterey, Salinas, and Sacramento (CA), to Amberg, Germany. Now residing near the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), she was asked to be the resident artist for the SHAPE Performing Arts Center.
Patrizia says about her work "My paintings are a dedication to my love of nature and all the natural specimens you can find around me, no matter what place I currently live. When painting, attention is brought to these unassuming objects in a unique way, always looking to combine the unexpected. My paintings act to reintroduce the wonder found around the nature to focus interest in motifs that are often taken for granted or overlooked and to inspire conservation of the environment."
